"warm drink, junk heaviness, a silent rave, a casino win, then a loss"
What happened
The moments he thought worth keeping, in his words, with the time he wrote them down.
- 20:19
— Had a drink, the warm hour made everything a notch looser — *"the warmth wearing thin"*
- 21:29
— Won big at the casino!
- 22:34
— Lost at the casino, lingering regret — *"lingering regret about the loss"*
- 23:08
— Dialled a half‑remembered number, only the dial tone answered — *"Held the receiver and listened to the dial tone hum. Said nothing"*
- 23:52
— Showed up to the rave but no music was playing
How the day went
Started the night buoyed by a warm drink, but the junk food settled in and weighed me down. A burst of calm after the rave lifted me briefly before the casino loss dragged me back. By the end the heaviness faded, leaving a muted, steady ease.
